About the role

Andrews Property Group is looking for a dedicated Property Manager to join their Canterbury lettings team. This is a permanent, full-time role managing a portfolio of residential properties on behalf of landlords across Canterbury and the surrounding CT postcodes.

You will be the day-to-day point of contact for both landlords and tenants, handling everything from move-ins and inspections to maintenance coordination, renewals, and deposit disputes. Professional development and ARLA Propertymark training are fully supported.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of residential lettings from tenancy commencement to vacation
  • Coordinating maintenance requests with approved contractors
  • Conducting periodic property inspections and reporting to landlords
  • Handling tenancy renewals, rent reviews, and deposit returns
  • Ensuring compliance with current lettings legislation (Section 21, deposit protection, gas safety, EPC)
  • Liaising with the tenancy deposit scheme on disputed deductions

Requirements

  • Previous experience in lettings or property management preferred
  • ARLA Propertymark qualification (or working towards) desirable
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a busy workload
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of current residential lettings legislation
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
